Langley Watercourse Classification and ESA Study

City of Langley

Identification and classification of watercourses and broadbrush identification of environmentally sensitive areas for Langley’s Watercourse Classification and Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESA) Study.

·         Port Moody ESA Study

City of Port Moody

Developed management guidelines for protecting environmentally sensitive areas for Phase II of the city’s ESA management strategy (in association with Robertson Environmental Services and Quadra Planning Consultants Ltd.)

 Coquitlam Watercourse Classification Project

City of Coquitlam

Researched existing resource information and conducted stream assessments and fish sampling in order to update the City of Coquitlam’s Watercourse Classification Map.

 Turner Creek Watershed ESA Study

Fraser River Action Plan, Department of Fisheries and Oceans

Conducted a biophysical overview, identified aquatic and riparian Environmentally Sensitive Areas, and developed prescriptions and planning tools for riparian protection in the Turner Creek Watershed, District of Salmon Arm.

   

·       Sensitive Ecosystems Inventory Project

Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks, Canadian Wildlife Service, and Municipal Affairs

Contributed to the development of a conservation manual to protect sensitive ecosystems on southeastern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands (in association with Quadra Planning and Dunster & Associates)
